The client is looking for someone who could make the step up to Engineering Manager in the next few years. 

The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance operations across the site, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and compliance with standards. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and leading a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Planning and prioritizing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Overseeing reactive and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring contractor compliance with site safety and regulatory standards.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processes.
  • Managing site facilities, ensuring all areas meet operational and compliance standards.
  • Supporting training and development for the team, driving skill enhancement and career progression.
This is a hands-on leadership role that will require a proactive and solution-focused approach to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in an FMCG environment.
  • A multi-skilled approach, with expertise across mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Exceptional leadership and man-management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement efficiency gains.
