Looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineering Supervisor to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued growth.
    
The role is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment within the processing facility. Please note this is a hands on role, but the post holder will lead by example and be competent in both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
  
The company is a long-standing well-known business based in Pocklington which has undergone significant investment on plant over the last few years.
  
They operate a rotating weekly shift pattern. Working Monday to Thursday, days one week and nights the next.

The Multi-Skilled Engineering Supervisor role:

  • Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time
  • Reactive and PPM duties. Electrical and Mechanical
  • Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly
  • Carry out fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities
  • Supervise a team of 4 Engineers
  
The Candidate:

  • A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both manual and automated production equipment
  • Must be Multi-Skilled
  • Must have a proven Electrical qualification with 17th or 18th edition as a minimum
  • Understanding of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong team working capabilities and the ability to lead by example
