Consortium is pleased to be partnering with our client in their search for a Senior Draughtsperson.


As a seasoned Senior Draughtsperson, you will have a strong history of design, civil engineering and leading teams, ensuring that engineering drawings are produced accurately and on schedule for a variety of projects.

Senior Draughtsperson role & responsibilities:
  • Creating new designs using 2D & 3D CAD to support new projects.
  • Support technical department with design verification information – e.g.: FEA calculation or Stress calcs.
  • Generate bills of materials and fabrication / assembly information
  • Compiling reports summarising design decisions & verification
  • Liaising with customers by telephone and e-mail correspondence with regards to drawings and approvals where required
  • Senior team members will be expected to support junior colleagues in mentoring and training where appropriate.
The position is well suited to someone who has:
  • Civil engineering experience
  • Knowledge of MicroStation, SolidEdge or similar
  • HND/HNC or equivalent in engineering
  • Team leader experience
Senior Draughtsperson Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary per annum £40,000 to £45,000
