Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Brigg
Salary: £43,500 - £44,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts, but with no Weekends or Nights

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role is predominantly reactive maintenance, with additional involvement in PPM and project work and Set Ups/Product Changeovers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and contributing to continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime across production lines.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Support and deliver engineering projects aimed at process and efficiency improvements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across the site’s advanced machinery.
  • Work with robotics, casers, check weighers, fillers, conveyors, and other packaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Key Requirements:
  • Time-served or formally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Willingness to develop skills further through training and upskilling opportunities.
