The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment in a facility that boasts industry-leading manufacturing processes.
  
The company operate a 24/7 Shift pattern and the successful candidate will be working a 4 on 4 off Days based rota.
  
This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the production facility, with a focus on electrical expertise but requiring multi-disciplinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
  • Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
  • Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.
  
  
  
The Candidate:
  

  • Proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
  • Must be multi-skilled and be able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
  • Ideally be apprentice trained
  • Must have worked in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment e.g. Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare etc
  • Good experience of managing safety in your daily activities
  • Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with CMMS platforms and PPM experience
  • Must be happy to work 12 hr days
