Shipping Coordinator

About the Role:
Consortium Professional Recruitment is working with a global leader in engineering, and they are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with first hand experience in international shipping and logistics.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage international shipping logistics and customer communications.
• Obtain freight quotes and arrange truck, air, and ocean shipments.
• Prepare and verify export documents 
• Coordinate and track import documents with stakeholders
• Ensure on-time deliveries and maintain shipping schedules.
• Verify and approve freight, customs, and commercial invoices.
• Resolve international shipping issues and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare packing lists for domestic and international shipments.
• Communicate shipping updates and issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in warehouse operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in logistics and international shipping. (3 years minimum)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence in using MS Office (experience with MRP systems like SAP is a bonus).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with customers and suppliers.
• A proactive approach and willingness to be flexible when required
