Consortium are pleased to be partnering with an international logistics provider, who are looking for a 3rd Party Logistics Coordinator to support the team with suppliers and drivers. Planning experience is not essential, however experience within a transport/logistics environment is crucial.

The Role:

The successful Tank Coordinator will be responsible for:

Processing customer orders and maintaining consistent, timely communication with customers.
Coordinating closely with suppliers to arrange the necessary transportation for order execution.
Ensuring efficient turnaround of tanks to optimise their utilisation.
Monitoring and planning UK tank driver schedules to maximise earnings potential.
Upholding service levels to meet customer expectations.
Managing equipment usage in alignment with specific customer, product, and operational needs.
Facilitating smooth onboarding and integration of new business.
Managing the recharge of any additional costs.
Coordinating tank cleaning, repairs, and maintenance services.

Successful candidates will have:

Prior experience in tank planning.
A background in customer-facing roles.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
Clear, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members, drivers, and stakeholders.
Problem-solving abilities to identify issues, recommend solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
Ability to seamlessly shift between customer service and operational responsibilities.
