Role Overview:
The Technical Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the technical department to ensure that all quality and technical operations run seamlessly. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers, providing comprehensive administrative support to the technical manager and quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the technical manager and other teams within the quality department.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to maintain smooth communication.
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Draft product specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required.
- Coordinate and prepare for customer audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a technical or quality department.
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar sector would be advantageous.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
