As the Senior Design Engineer, you will be working with a small team of 3 engineers, ensuring the successful development and modification of designs in line with business growth. You’ll be heavily involved in the technical aspects, including hands-on work with FEA (Finite Element Analysis), ensuring projects are completed to high standards and within set deadlines.

Senior Design Engineer & responsibilities:

  • Leading the development of new and modification of existing designs using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
  • Performing FEA calculations and stress analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.

  • Collaborating with both internal teams and customers to discuss project requirements and approvals.

This position is well suited to someone who:

  • Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and FEA calculations is essential.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and inspire a small team.
  • A creative problem-solver with a passion for engineering and innovation.
  • A background in assembly, fabrication, or structural industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • The desire to grow and progress in a dynamic business.
